Joaquin Gabriel Montoya is a student in the MA Anthropology (Southwest Studies) program at New Mexico Highlands University. He completed his B.S. in Anthropology (archaeology concentration) from the University of New Mexico in 2012. In addition to being a student, he has also been working as a Culture Resource Management archaeologist for almost two years, working on projects across the state of New Mexico in the United States.
For the next three months, Joaquin will be blogging about various projects he is participating in as a CRM archaeologist, his progress on completing his thesis, and preparations to present that research at the upcoming SAA conference.
