Kristina M. Hill

Kristina is a US Forest Service archeologist on the Ouachita National Forest. She completed her undergraduate studies at Eastern Washington University in 2014 and her Master’s at East Carolina University in 2017, with a focus on lithic technologies and pre-contact North American archeology. After graduate school, Kristina spent a year as a Greening Youth Foundation intern on the National Forests and Grasslands in Texas.

Over the course of the next few months, Kristina plans to blog about the challenges faced in the latter half of her first year as a supervisor and cultural resource manager, the role of an archeologist in US public lands management, and how the learning process never ends.
